Investors appreciated the clarity—10 solid slides, clean design, and a focused story. It turns out simplicity still works in 2025, especially when you present real traction and a clear problem-solution fit. I’d say don’t overthink it—just be direct and compelling. For inspiration, I highly recommend checking out this pitch deck example It helped me a ton!

When I need to raise the pH in my saltwater aquarium, I typically start by checking the water parameters to ensure that low pH isn't caused by other issues, like high CO2 levels or low alkalinity. One of the simplest methods I use is adding a buffer, like baking soda or a commercial alkalinity supplement, which helps stabilize the pH by increasing the carbonate hardness.

I also make sure to perform regular water changes with high-quality salt mix, as fresh saltwater often has a higher pH and can help balance the tank. Another technique I rely on is increasing aeration in the tank, either by adjusting my protein skimmer or adding an airstone, which helps drive off excess CO2 and naturally raises the pH.

Sometimes, I'll even open a window near the tank to improve air exchange and reduce indoor CO2 levels. If my tank is heavily stocked with corals, I also check the calcium reactor settings, as improper adjustments can sometimes lower pH.

There is even automated monitoring systems and advanced LED lighting and even 3D printing has enabled custom frag plugs and mounts. Overall, I think these developments enhance both the hobby and global conservation efforts.

I used to have this issue a while ago and I got rid off it using a toothbrush or algae scraper. Make sure to turn off equipment like filters and heaters to prevent obstructions and maybe even lower the water levels. As I got better at doing it I realized that it is better to start at the top and work my way down.

If possible, try removing decorations from the tank to scrub them under running water, minimizing the spread of algae. As far as live plants it might be best to trim the affected leaves.

When you are done cleaning, perform partial water changes to clear out any remaining debris. I hope this helps!
